F A Q

  • Please follow these steps to ensure your tattoo heals as best as it can, how you look after it will determine the quality of healing, once you leave the studio, its up to you to make sure your tattoo heals well.

    • When your artist has finished tattooing you, you will have the tattoo wrapped in cling film, or they may use a type of second skin such as Tagiderm, this will be explained to you also at the end of your appointment.

    • The average healing process takes between 10-30 days; you will notice the surface skin healing after 7 days when looked after properly.

    • Make sure to clean any plasma with warm water and a medicated fragrance free soap before reapplying cling film or cocoa butter.

    • Your artist will advise how long your tattoo should wrapped in cling film, and when to start applying cocoa butter to the area. You only need a light layer. We recommend Palmer’s Cocoa Butter as it is the most natural, moisturising and fragrance free. Please DO NOT use Bepanthen, as the ingredients have changed and it’s no longer beneficial for the tattoo healing process.

    • Please ensure to touch your tattoo as little as possible and if any scabbing/skin flaking appears do not pick or scratch it off, allow it to fall off naturally.

    • Please do not submerge your new tattoo in the bath, pool or sea for the first 7 days. Showering is absolutely fine. Do your best to avoid any shampoo/other products from coming in contact with your tattoo.

    • Avoid direct sunlight or sunbeds for the first 7 days, please only use sun cream AFTER the tattoo is fully healed.

    • If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask your tattoo artist.

  • Generally we are closed Sunday/Monday. We don’t have set “shop hours” but you can usually find us open Tues-Sat 11am - 5pm. Our artists work by appointment and we sometimes have space for walk-ins. If you’re looking to stop by to discuss a tattoo, or to try to get tattooed on the same day, it’s best to email beforehand to see if we’re in on that day.

  • Our artists are predominantly appointment only, and making an appointment is always recommended. However, if an artist has time and is available we will always try to cater for walk-ins on the day.

  • Our shop minimum is £70.

It completely depends on the artist and the proposed tattoo. Your chosen artist will be able to quote you based on your idea/design.

  • When making an appointment, it’s important to contact an artist who works with the style you like, If you aren’t sure, please fill out our online form which you can find here. Please be mindful that we won’t copy another artist’s work, however, inspiration can be taken from it to get something that’s best and most suited to you.

  • We are a CASH ONLY studio. Online payments may be possible but a charge may be applied by your artist. It’s ideal if you bring cash with you to your appointment, there are a few cash points within minutes walk from the studio.

  • Deposits are non-refundable, however, you can reschedule your appointment once if we are told within 3 days. If you reschedule more than 3 times in the same year your deposit will be forfeited.

  • Of course, however, our studio is small so if it’s a busy day they may have to wait in our waiting area. If you really need someone by your side during the process let your artist know before hand. We do have a more private basement space which can be reserved upon request when booking.

  • We are a 25 minute walk from Margate Train Station. Local bus services are quite regular and reliable.
